Campaign Focus: Securing dignity and basic workplace rights for transport workers.

Bus drivers are routinely denied access to basic toilet facilities across their routes, with many services lacking any provision at Bus stops along the way. To make matters worse, tight schedules and unrealistic turnaround times mean drivers often don’t have time to take a proper break, even when facilities are available.

This isn't just a matter of comfort, it's a serious health and safety concern, affecting physical wellbeing, mental stress levels, and road safety. Employers and transport authorities have a legal and moral duty to provide adequate welfare provisions and realistic scheduling for all drivers.
