At the Workers of England Union, our mission is simple: to get a better deal for workers in England.
We are proudly politically impartial — not because we don’t care about politics, but because we care more about representing you than pushing any political party line.
Our Focus
Our focus is on ensuring the workers of England receive:
- Better pay
- Better employment rights
- Better working conditions
- Better value when paying taxes
- A fair future
We won’t put political party support above any of those points. We will not support political agendas simply to say we are aligned with a political party.
Independence and Impartiality
Many of our members and representatives take part in a wide range of external organisations, and we respect those choices. But as a Trade Union, we stay independent and impartial.
We do not affiliate with any political party, and we don’t operate a political fund — something only needed by trade unions that financially back party-political campaigns.
Protecting Your Freedom
This impartial stance protects the freedom of every member — the freedom to choose, to speak, to act — and ensures we campaign for what truly matters:

- Real representation
- Better working lives for all workers in England, regardless of political beliefs
