Workers of Wales Union

Workers of Wales Union

The Workers of Wales Union is a trading name of the Workers of England Union operating in Wales. We are a fully independent trade union dedicated to protecting our members’ employment rights in their chosen industry, without any political affiliation.

Independent Trade Union Representation

Workers across Wales wanted an independent union, and so the Workers of Wales Union branch was established. Our Independent Trade Union ensures members receive support that is external and completely independent from your employer. It makes sense, doesn’t it? An Employment Adviser supporting you in your time of need, who isn’t employed by your company.

Representative Knowledge and Experience

Our Representatives are not limited to one company or trade. Beyond annual training, they gain extensive experience by:

  • Visiting businesses across various industries
  • Advising workers on complex employment law issues
  • Interacting with different Managers and HR departments

This broad exposure ensures they offer the highest level of support and expertise to our members.

Membership Benefits

The Workers of Wales Union represents a diverse cross section of Wales’ workforce. We recognize each member’s needs are unique, which is why we provide ongoing advice on all work-related matters. Members can always call the union office for guidance whenever they need assistance.

As our membership continues to grow, so does our strength. We support our Representatives and Organisers, ensuring they can deliver the highest quality of service to every member.

Our Mission and Values

At the Workers of Wales Union, we are committed to:

  • Protecting YOU
  • Supporting YOU
  • Representing YOU

We believe that by working together, we achieve more than we would alone. As an open, democratic, and progressive trade union, our focus is on safeguarding our members in the workplace and building a fairer society that treats everyone with dignity and respect. When we speak, your voice is heard.

Fighting for Justice and Unity

Our union is dedicated to:

  • Fighting and winning in the workplace
  • Making your voice heard
  • Listening and taking action
  • Promoting a fairer society
  • Treating people with dignity and respect
  • Encouraging unity, not discord
  • Embracing openness and democracy
  • Empowering members to get involved at a local level

Together, under the banner of the Workers of Wales Union, we can build a successful, prosperous future where contributions are recognized, respected, and rewarded.
